Skirting
The enclosure your permit calls for, in metal or pressure-treated plywood.
What is included
- Your choice of metal or pressure-treated plywood
- Vented to code, so the crawlspace stays dry
- An access panel where you need to get under the home
- Cut to follow the grade, so there is no gap along the bottom
What you get
A full enclosure on a pressure-treated frame, fastened to the home at the top and held at the bottom. It is cut to follow the grade so there is no gap along the bottom, vented to code, and fitted with an access panel where you need to get under the home.
For the inspection
The home has to be enclosed and vented before it passes. We build the enclosure to code and leave you an access panel you can actually use afterward.
Metal or pressure-treated plywood
Both are yours to pick and both are priced the same. Metal is clean, light and takes no upkeep. Pressure-treated plywood takes a hit, takes paint if you want it to match the home, and can be repaired a board at a time. We will tell you which one we would use on your site, and then build whichever you choose.
What it costs
$5,500 park model or singlewide · $6,000 doublewide · $6,500 triplewide
Taking the skirting and the access decks together costs less than booking the two jobs separately - it is one trip and one crew.
