Related: patching & repairs
While we're under the home we often find torn belly board, a soft spot in the floor, or a damaged pier. If it's small and localized, we fix it right there instead of leaving it for later. Larger fixes get quoted onsite. See patching & repairs for the full scope of what we handle.
Common questions
Do you check for vapor barriers?
Yes. We inspect the existing barrier and let you know if it needs replacement. Replacement is a separate quote if needed.
What if rodents have been down there?
We flag the evidence, remove contaminated insulation, and install clean insulation. If the rodents are active, we'll recommend you bring in a pest pro before we reinstall so they don't just nest again.
