Why PT plywood over vinyl
Vinyl skirting is cheaper upfront but tears, cracks in cold weather, and flexes under pressure. PT plywood holds up to weather, pests, and impact for decades. If you want something that looks solid and lasts, this is it.
Timeline
Singlewide: 2 to 3 days typical. Doublewide: 3 to 4 days. Timeline confirmed in your written quote.
What can change the price
Linear footage (longer homes need more material), height off the ground (tall piers mean more panel area), and site access. We measure at the free onsite assessment and quote firm after.
Common questions
Does PT plywood rot?
Not in normal conditions. Pressure treated lumber is rated for ground contact and direct weather. In Western WA rain, expect 20+ years of life with minimal maintenance.
Do you paint or stain it?
Base install leaves it raw (the PT color). If you want it painted or stained, that's an add on, we'll quote the color you pick.
What about access for plumbing?
Every skirting job includes at least one removable access panel for plumbing and crawlspace entry. Tell us where you want it at the assessment.
